Lenovo – the Chinese firm has launched Golden Warrior S8 smartphone in its homeland China. Now, Lenovo Golden Warrior S8 is officially listed online with a discounted price $181.79 (Roughly Rs 11,000 or 135.43 Euro). The company claim to ship the handset all over the world including India without charges.
The new Lenovo Golden Warrior S8 sports a 5.3-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS-LCD Capacitive Multi-Touch Screen display. It is featured with Gorilla III Glass, LTPS and OGS technology. The smartphone supports 2G 900/1800/1900MHz and 3G TD-SCDMA 1880/2010MHz (can be only used in China) networks.
It is powered by an 1.4GHz MediaTek MTK6592 Cortex A7 Octa-Core processor, and further combined with Mali-450 MP4 GPU and 2GB of RAM.
The Golden Warrior S8 comes with dual camera, 13 MP BSI II at back and also houses a 5 MegaPixel frontal camera at front for selfies. The camera feature flashlight, auto focus, F2.2 large aperture, Blue Glass flitter, HDR, face beauty, panorama etc.
It has 16GB of internal storage, that can be further upgraded with up to 32GB of memory card. The phablet runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box.
At 7.9mm thin, the Lenovo Golden Warrior S8 weighs 146gm. The company also talks about aviation level aluminium alloy frame for fast heat dissipation. GPS, WIFI, Bluetooth, 3.5mm ear jack, Gravity Sensor, A-GPS, GPS, Hotspot, tethering and Wifi Direct are another connectivity options.
This comes in Dual Sim Card with Dual Standby feature and available in Golden colour. It measures 146 x 76.7 x 7.9mm/5.75 x 3.02 x 0.31 inch, while weight is 146g. Lenovo Golden Warrior S8 is backed by a 2000mAh Battery, rated to deliver 2 to 3 days standby time.
According to the specs, in my reviews Lenovo Golden Warrior S8 phablet is great option for Chinese in $181.79.
