Lenovo – the Chinese firm that has launched the Golden Warrior S8 smartphone in its homeland China. Now, Lenovo Golden Warrior S8 is officially listed online with a discounted price of $181.79 (Roughly Rs 11,000 or 135.43 Euro). The company claims to ship the handset all over the world, including India, without charges.
The new Lenovo Golden Warrior S8 sports a 5.3-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS-LCD Capacitive Multi-Touch Screen display. It is featured by Gorilla III Glass, LTPS, and OGS technology. The smartphone supports 2G 900/1800/1900MHz and 3G TD-SCDMA 1880/2010MHz (can be only used in China) networks.
It is powered by a 1.4GHz MediaTek MTK6592 Cortex A7 Octa-Core processor and further combined with Mali-450 MP4 GPU and 2GB of RAM.
The Golden Warrior S8 comes with a dual camera, 13 MP BSI II at the back, and also houses a 5 Mega Pixel frontal camera at the front for selfies. The camera features a flashlight, autofocus, F2.2 large aperture, Blue Glass filter, HDR, face beauty, panorama, etc.
It has 16 GB of internal storage that can be further upgraded with up to 32 GB of memory cards. The phablet runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box.
At 7.9mm thin, the Lenovo Golden Warrior S8 weighs 146 gm. The company also talks about aviation level aluminum alloy frame for fast heat dissipation. GPS, WIFI, Bluetooth, 3.5mm ear jack, Gravity Sensor, A-GPS, GPS, Hotspot, tethering, and Wifi Direct are other connectivity options.
This comes with Dual Sim Card with a Dual Standby feature and available in Golden color. It measures 146 x 76.7 x 7.9mm/5.75 x 3.02 x 0.31 inch, while weight is 146g. The Lenovo Golden Warrior S8 is backed by a 2000mAh battery, rated to deliver 2 to 3 days standby time.
