Lenovo has announced that A7000 will be available through Lazada in six countries in South East Asia. Starting customers today from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines can purchase this handset. However, if you are from Vietnam, it will reach you on May 13.
Lenovo A7000 was announced during the MWC (Mobile World Congress) with a price tag of US $169. It runs the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS that is powered by an octa-core MediaTek CPU. It also comes with an 8MP rear snapper, an opposite side, a 5MP selfie camera. Further, the Lenovo A7000 features a 5.5 inch HD screen with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels.
According to Maximilian Bittner, Lazada CEO, “There’s no one else with a similar regional footprint.” Lenovo officials are expecting that the phone will be a great success in Thailand and Indonesia.
Interestingly the phone is priced at S$299 (the US $224) in Singapore, which is higher than the originally announced price of MWC. For other countries, the Lenovo A7000 price can be checked through Lazada’s country-specific sites.
