Lenovo A5000, the latest smartphone in the A-series, has been launched in Russia with a price of RUB 12,000 (Roughly Rs. 14,500 / 233 US Dollar). According to Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom, the phone is also available in India through retailers with a price of Rs 10,250.
The Lenovo A5000 comes with a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor, Mali 400 GPU, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory, Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Vibe 2.0 UI, dual-SIM (mini + micro), 8MP auto-focus rear camera with LED Flash, 2MP front-facing camera and 4000mAH battery.
The A5000 has 140x 71.4 x 9.98mm dimensions, and its weight is 160 grams. It has connectivity options 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.
