After the grand success of OnePlus 1, the upcoming handset OnePlus 2 by OnePlus has been leaked have been hitting the Web almost every day. As we approach the OnePlus 2’s launch, more rumors spreading through different media day by day. OnePlus has just announced the launch date of 27 July for OnePlus 2, which is barely a month away.
Now, what recent news is, it appears that OnePlus is planning to have three models of the OnePlus 2. The OnePlus 2 version’s trio has three different models known as as- A2001, A2003, and A2005. All have been certified with hardware version 2.2 and software version 2.01 for Bluetooth 4.1 specification.
The A2001 has actually popped up in benchmarks in recent months, showing a phone made by OnePlus that runs a Snapdragon 810 processor and has 3GB RAM.
So what would three models mean?
We expect that OnePlus is separating the handset by providing different storage capacity or maybe RAM. It seems that the Processor may be the same for all 3 variants of the handset.
The OnePlus 2 A2001 will likely be the base model with Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2.1 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM and 16 GB internal storage. OnePlus 2 A2003 will pack the same SoC but will feature 4GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage and OnePlus 2 A2005 with 128 GB internal storage. Yet, there is no clue on the OnePlus 2 A2005 hardware. What we are hoping is it will likely be the range-topping variant with the most built-in storage.
