Lava has launched another tablet, called it Xtron Z704, and available in India with a price Rs 6499. The company says that the tablet is targeted to college-going students and young professionals.

The Lava Xtron Z704 tablet runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS out-of-the-box. It sports a 7-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels, that is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek  MT8127 processor, coupled with 1GB of DDRIII RAM, and clubbed with Videocore IV GPU.

The Xtron Z704 boasts a 2-megapixel rear-facing camera without flash, while there is also a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera onboard for video calling using Skype. It comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).

Connectivity options on the Lava Xtron Z704 include; Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4, Micro-USB, USB tethering, GPS, HDMI, and GPRS/ EDGE. It is backed by a powerful battery of 4000mAh capacity. The whole device measures 188.4 x 108 x 10.7mm, and weighs 320 grams.
