Lava has listed a new slate in official website, dubbed as Xtron Mega. It has punched with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS, which is too old and you should avoid purchasing this, because after releasing the device most of the company does not care to update with latest operating system. Lava should learn from Intex, who has yesterday launched Intex Aqua Star L running on Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Lava says, the Lava Xtron Mega tablet boasts 1.3 GHz Quad Core (Action 7029) processor and clubbed with Power VR SGX540 GPU. It features a 10.1-inch touchscreen display with 1280×800 pixels of resolution, that is good. The slate houses a 2-megapixel rear shooter and also sports a VGA front-facing camera for video calling.
The Xtron Mega is equipped with 1GB of RAM and packs a sufficient amount of internal storage (16GB) that is further expandable with up to 32GB of microSD card only. It is backed by a heavy duty battery of 6000 mAh capacity.
Connectivity options include in Lava Xtron Mega as HDMI, Blutooth V3.0, Wi Fi, 3.5mm audio-jack, micro-USB, Google Maps, tethering and GPS/A-GPS. The firm has not confirmed the dimension and weight of the device.
