Lava has launched a QPAD series tablet, the R704. It is available in India for Rs 8499.
The Lava QPAD R704 features a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) touchscreen display and powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor with 1GB DDR3 RAM. It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS, and according to the company, it is upgradable to Android 4.4 KitKat. It is equipped with a 2-megapixel rear camera, and also, there is a VGA front-facing camera onboard.
The QPAD R704 comes with a single SIM slot and features 3G connectivity. It is backed by a 3500 mAh battery that is, according to the company, rated for up to 300 hours of standby time or 10 hours of talk time. It comes with Qualcomm Quick charging technology for 30% faster charging. It has 8GB of internal storage and can be expanded with up to 32 GB via an external MicroSD card.
In terms of connectivity options, the QPAD R704 includes; 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, FM radio, and a 3.5mm ear jack.
