Lava has launched a flagship budget smartphone in India with a tag price of Rs 8,799. The handset is available exclusively via the eCommerce online website Amazon for Rs 8,649. The device is available online in Grey-Black color variant, and the retailer offering 16GB Micro SD Memory Card, Flip Mobile Cover, and Screen Protector free for today only.
Lava also confirms that two variant color models will be available in the coming days, namely white and black. The Iris X5 features a 5-inch HD IPS touchscreen display (1280 x 720 pixels) with OGS (one-glass-solution) technology. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS out of the box.
Lava Iris X5 houses an 8-megapixel rear camera with dual SIM flash and Omni Vision BSI sensor. There is also a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with an LED flash for selfies. It comes with 1GB of RAM and has 8GB of internal storage (upgradeable up to 32GB). A 2100mAh battery backs the phone.
Dual SIM (Normal SIM + micro SIM), 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and USB OTG are the main connectivity options included in this Lava Iris X5.
