Lava Iris Icon with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM Launched in India at Rs 11,499

Lava has launched a flagship smartphone, dubbed Iris Icon. The phone is listed on the company website with a price tag of Rs 11,999. It can be purchased through the e-commerce online website Snapdeal with a price of Rs 11,499. The online retailer is also offering a free selfie stick with a Bluetooth shutter for the first 500 customers.

Lava Iris IconThe Lava Iris Icon is a dual-SIM (WCDMA+GSM / micro) phone, features dual standby functionality. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat OS and is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor with 2GB of RAM. The built-in 16 GB internal memory can be expanded with up to 32 GB of MicroSD cards.

Lava Iris Icon - Front and Back ImageThe Iris Icon features a 5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels resolution) IPS display, with Asahi Dragontrail Glass and Full Lamination. The device houses a 13 MP BSI-II rear snapper with F2.0 aperture & dual-flash and also boasts a 5-megapixel front-facing selfie camera.

The Lava Iris Icon measures 143.41 X 70.56 X 7.7 mm and weighs 143 gm. Its powerful 2500 mAh Li-Pol battery is rated for 19 hours 58 mins (2G) / 8 hours 58 mins (3G) talk-time and up to 430 hrs of standby. The connectivity options include FM radio, USB OTG, 3.5mm sound jack, WiFi, Wi-Fi hotspot, Micro-USB, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, and A-GPS. It also supports proximity, accelerometer, and magnetometer sensors.
