Lava has launched a new flagship smartphone, dubbed Iris Alfa L. It is priced at Rs 8,000 on the company website of India.
The latest dual-SIM (WCDMA+GSM) smartphone, Lava Iris Alfa L, comes in White & Metallic grey. It runs the latest Android v5.0 (Lollipop) OS and is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-Core MediaTek processor. It features a big 5.5-inch IPS display with qHD 960×540 pixels of resolution.
The Iris Alfa L houses an 8-MP autofocus rear camera with LED Flash and PureCel sensor. There is also a 2-megapixel camera at the front for selfies and video calling. The handset measures 152 x 78.9 x 9.35 mm and weighs 165 gms.
The Lava Iris Alfa L is backed by a 3000mAh Li-Polymer battery rated for 22 hours 06 minutes (2G) / 13 hours 15 minutes (3G) talk-time and 12 days of standby in single SIM. It is equipped with 1GB of RAM, and also 8GB built-in storage is further expandable with up to 32 GB of MicroSD cards.
In terms of connectivity specs, the Lava Iris Alfa L includes GPRS/EDGE, 3G HSPA, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, micro-USB, GPS, Bluetooth v4.0, FM radio with recording, dual-speakers, and 3.5mm audio jack. It also supports accelerometer, ambient light, proximity, and magnetometer sensors.
