Lava mobile is planning to launch another smartphone in India, called it Lava Iris 460. The smartphone is listed on the official website; however, no price and availability details are available on its site.
According to the listing, the Lava Iris 460 is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM / 3G+3G) smartphone, which is handled by Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS out-of-the-box but does not support Java. It comes with handcrafted leather back design, and the handset features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) IPS OGS multi-touchscreen display with 217ppi pixel density and 16.7 Million colors.
It is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor, which is further combined with 1GB of RAM. The Lava Iris 460 houses a 5-megapixel auto-focus rear camera along with LED flash, and there is also a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera onboard. The camera features Panorama Mode, HDR mode, Face Detection, Smile Shot, Zero shutter delay.
The cellphone comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage and also has room for a MicroSD card (up to 32 GB).
The Lava Iris 460 smartphone packs a 1650mAh Li-ion battery, which is rated to deliver up to 6 hours of talk time on 2G and 3 hours of talk time on a 3G network. The connectivity options on the Lava Iris 460 include 3G, 2G, Bluetooth 4.0 LE (Low Energy), FM radio, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, and GPS/A-GPS.
The smartphone measures 130x65x8.75mm, and will be available in Black and Gray variant color. It supports GSM 900/1800MHz and HSPA+ 900/2100MHz operating frequency bands.
The Lava Iris 460 comes with Accelerometer, Proximity, and Ambient Light Sensors. It comes with preinstalled apps like Flash Light, Quickoffice, Translate, Adaptxt, Google Apps, and Theme Manager.
