Lava Iris 414 with 4-inch TFT Display and Android 4.4.2 KitKat in India

Lava has released a new smartphone, the Iris 414. It is listed on the company website of India as coming soon in stores. However, till now, there is no official price tag available.

The new Lava Iris 414 is a low budget smartphone that features 3G, comes in black and white variant colors. It sports a 4-inch TFT display with 800×480 pixels of resolution and is powered by a 1GHz single-core (officially its is listed as a 1 GHz processor) processor.

The Iris 414 runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS and supports dual SIM (WCDMA+GSM) with dual standby functionality, has 512 MB of RAM. It is also equipped with 4GB of internal storage that is further expandable with up to 32 GB MicroSD card.

The phone houses a 3.2 MP rear shooter with LED flash and boasts a VGA front camera for video calling. It is backed by a 1400 mAh Li-ion battery, which is according to the firm rated for talk-time up to 12 hours (2G) / 10 hours 40 minutes (3G) and browsing (3G) up to 4 hours 5 minutes. It provides standby up to 125 Hours 57 Minutes with a single SIM.

The connectivity options include Lava Iris 414, FM Radio, WiFi, Bluetooth V2.1, micro-USB v2.0, mobile hotspot, A-GPS, and 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 120 X 63.4 X 10.4, and its weight is 112 gms. It supports an accelerometer sensor.
