After the launch of the Iris 460, Lava has slightly introduced a new smartphone, the Iris 460Q in India with a price Rs 5499. The company has not listed it in its official website yet, but it is already available through eCommerce online website HomeShop18.

Lava Iris 400Q

According to the online listing, the Lava Iris 400Q is a 3G handset features Dual-SIM (GSM+GSM), and available in Grey colour. It is powered by an 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor with 1MB of RAM and running on the latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS out of the box.

The Iris 400Q has Accelerometer, Ambient Light and Proximity Sensors. The smartphone sports 4 in (10.16 cm) WVGA TFT touchscreen with 480 x 800 Pixels resolution, 233 ppi and 16.7M color depth. It houses 5Megapixel rear camera with LED flash and HD video recording @ 720p. The primary camera features Scene detection & tuning; while there is a front-facing camera is also available for video calling.

Lava Iris 400Q comes with 4GB of internal storage, which is further expandable with up to 32GB of external microSD card. GPRS, 3G, Bluetooth v2.1, USB v2.0, FM radio and 3.5mm Jack are main connectivity options included.

The phone has 1700 mAh Li-ion battery , which is rated to deliver up to 9 h 10 min talk-time and up to 153hrs standby-time. It measures 12.9 x 6.3 x 0.99 cm, but no word about its weight.
