Lava – the International manufacturer of smartphones and tablets, has listed a new 3G USB data card on his official website with a tag line “For those who love speed,” now available with a tag price of Rs. 1999 via eCommerce website Naaptol.
As per the official website of Lava, the new 144G is a perfect example of the new age miniature technology. Packed into a sleek body, this device provides superior signal strength, supports Voice Call, and has value adds like Phonebook/SMS (up to 3000), RX diversity, Prepaid Balance Check (USSD Function), and Memory Card support of up to 32 GB.
Coming to 144G features and specifications (specs), the modem dimension is 90 D x27.5 Wx 8.5 H, weighs <20 gm, comes into a USB stick form. The device comes with a microSD card slot and can be used with up to 16GB of external microSD cards.
The 144G supports Windows XP SP2 / VISTA sp1/Windows 8, Mac OS X 10.5/10.6, alongside Rx Diversity is also featured. There is an RGB LED indicator also available to guide you to a different state.
Video call supported. Lava modem comes with Zero-CD installation supported. There is no need to configure APN in this dongle; this is the beauty of the data-card. Just put any network provider sim and plug to PC to browse the internet with the highest speed. The device can deliver a download speed of 14.4 Mbps in the HSDPA network, or in the HSUPA, it can upload a file with a maximum speed of 5.76 Mbps.
The 144G device is built on an MTK6280D chipset. Supported frequency bands are UMTS 2100 MHz / GPRS 3GPP Release4, Multislot class 10, up to 85.6Kbps / GSM/GPRS 900 (Power Class 4) /1800 MHz (Power Class 1).
In my reviews, the stunning Lava 144G 3G supported is a very nice product, and there is no harm to invest Rs. 1999 in this broadband data card.
The other beauty of this 144G is that the device comes already unlocked, and there is a need to invest money after purchasing like Huawei.
