Kodak has unveiled a new Smartphone in CES 2015 dubbed as Kodak IM5, which is the first handset by this iconic photography brand. It was announced all the way back at CES in January.

It was expected that the handset enters in U.K market in-between March or April, but the phone never made it to store shelves there. After passing nearly 5 months after the announcement, the phone is finally available to purchase, but not in the UK, but in the Netherlands. The Smartphone retails for €280 free of contract and can be purchased today also.

Key specifications of Kodak IM5

1. 5-inch HD IPS touch screen display
2. 720 x 1280 pixels resolution
3. 1.7GHz Octa-Core processor
4. Android 4.4 KitKat OS, upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop
5. 1GB RAM / 8GB ROM

The company promised a Lollipop update, though we don’t see an overly bright future for the Smartphone, priced as it is. Let see how far this set goes on.
