Kodak IM5 Octa-Core Phone Launched in CES 2015 with a Price USD 249

Kodak has unveiled a new smartphone in CES 2015 dubbed as Kodak IM5.

The IM5 comes in black variant colors and features 3G connectivity; however, there are no details about dual-SIM or single SIM. It sports a 5-inch (720 x 1280 pixels) HD IPS touchscreen display and is powered by a 1.7GHz Octa-Core processor, most probably MediaTek. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat OS, and according to the company, it will be upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop in the future.

The Kodak IM5 comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage that is further expandable with up to 32GB of memory cards. It houses a 13-megapixel Auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and boasts a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie and video calling. There are no details of battery available till now.

Connectivity options included in the IM5 are FM Radio, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.0, micro-USB, Mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, and 3.5mm audio jack. It supports accelerometer, proximity, ambient light, and compass sensors.
