KDDI LG Isai Vivid LGV32 is the LG G4 for Japan

Japanese Carrier KDDI has announced a new LG smartphone, dubbed as LG Isai Vivid LGV32. Notably, most of the specs are the same, but the leatherback option is obviously not available. It is expected to sell through the carrier KDDI of Japan later this month. It will be available in Champagne, White, and Black color options. Pricing details are still unknown.

In terms of specs, the LG Isai Vivid features a 5.5-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD IPS Quantum display and is powered by a Hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 MSM8992 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. There is also a MicroSD card slot on-board for storage expansion (up to 128 GB).

There is a 16 MP CMOS sensor with f/1.8 aperture, phase detection autofocus, and Optical Image stabilization is fixed at the back of LG Isai Vivid. The primary camera can take RAW images, while there is a 2.1 MP unit at the front for a selfie.

In terms of connectivity options, the Isai Vivid LGV32 includes NFC, Dual Band (2.4GHz and 5.0GHz), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, Full Seg TV, and also supports voice over LTE (VoLTE). It features FDD-LTE, WiMAX 2+ (TD-LTE), W-CDMA, GSM networks. Apart from the support of 4G LTE (Cat.6), it takes advantage of LTE-A on KDDI carrier aggregation of WiMAX 2+; maximum download speed is estimated between 225 Mbps and 220 Mbps.

The LG Isai Vivid LGV32 is IP6X, and IPX5/IPX7 certified Dustproof and Waterproof. It has a single nano-SIM slot and runs the latest Android 5.1.x Lollipop OS out of the box. The device measures 150 x 76 x 10.3 mm in and weighs 150 grams. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery.
