JiaYu – the Chinese smartphone brand has unveiled a new smartphone in China, dubbed as JiaYu S3. Official price for 2GB RAM model is 899 yuan, while 3G RAM with NFC is available for order with a price 999 yuan.
The JiaYu S3 will compete Elephone P7000, which is listed in India for pre-order at Rs. 20,000.
The S3 also features dual 4G LTE and sports a big 5.5-inch FHD (1920 x 1080 pixels) OGS IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It has 16GB internal storage, but no word about expandable. It is powered by a 64-bit MT6752 1.7Ghz Octa-core processor and coupled with Mali-760MP GPU, that runs Android 4.4 KitKat OS, but no official word about Lollipop.
The dual SIM smartphone JiaYu S3 houses a 13-megapixel Sony IMX214 rear camera with F2.0 and also boasts a 5-megapixel Samsung CMOS sensor at the front for selfie. The primary camera features dual flash light and Auto-Focus. The handset is backed by a 3000-3100mAH removable lithium polymer battery.
In terms of connectivity options, the JiaYu S3 include WiFi 802.11 b / g / n, USB OTG, Mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, 3G, and 5G WIFI Bluetooth FMGPS. It measures 152 * 75.5 * 8.9mm, but no official word about its weight. It supports a set of sensors accelerometer, proximity, ambient light, gyroscope distance, hall, magnetic and magnetic.
