Intex today launched its first Firefox OS-based smartphone Cloud FX in India with a price of Rs 1999 only. Within a week, Spice has already surprised Indian customers with Fire One Mi-FX 1 Firefox OS phone for only Rs 2,299.
Intex Cloud FX is now India’s lowest-priced smartphone, features a 3.5-inch HVGA screen powered by a 1GHz processor. It has a 2-megapixel rear camera and dual SIM support, but with only 2G (EDGE) connectivity.
The Firefox OS is based on HTML5, comes with Adaptive App Search or the Single Window Search, and pre-loaded with Facebook, Twitter, and more apps. Firefox marketplace to download more apps. Intex Cloud FX is backed by a 1250mAh battery, rated to deliver 4 hrs talk-time or 200h standby time.
