Intex has launched a new budget Aqua-series smartphone, dubbed as Aqua Star II HD. Priced at Rs. 6,590; the phone is also listed in the company website of India. It will be available across India via offline and online stores.
The Intex Aqua Star II HD supports dual-SIM (WCDMA+GSM) with dual standby functionality, and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS out-of-the-box. It features a 5-inch (720 x 1280 pixels) HD IPS display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM.
The Aqua Star II HD comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It houses an 8-megapixel AF rear camera with LED flash, while there is also a secondary 5-megapixel front-facing camera also on board. The rear camera features Panorama Shot, Live photo mode, Gesture capture, Volume UP & Down button to take picture, Headphone Button also to take picture.
In terms of connectivity options, the Intex Aqua Star II HD offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, FM Radio, GPS/A-GPS and Bluetooth. It is backed by a 2,000mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 6 hours of talk time, and up to 250 hours of standby time. It measures 142×71.5×8.95mm.
The handset will be available in Champagne, Silver, White, and Grey colours.
