Intex has launched a new smartphone, dubbed Aqua M5. The device goes on sale in India exclusively through an eBay retailer for Rs 5,299; however, the device is not listed on the company website yet. The first 100 customers will get an Intex Bluetooth headset free of worth Rs 795.
The Intex Aqua M5 runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS and features a 5-inch FWVGA IPS display with 480 x 854 pixels of resolution. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core (MT6582V/X chipset) processor and features hot knot connectivity. It is backed by a 2,000mAH Li-ion battery rated for 5 hrs (3G) / 7 hrs (2G) of talk-time and 300 hrs of standby life.
The Aqua M5 houses an 8MP AF rear camera with flash and also packs a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter for selfies. It is equipped with 512Mb of RAM, and the 4GB built-in storage is further expandable with up to 32GB of microSD card.
The dual-SIM (micro+mini / WCDMA+GSM) Intex Aqua M5 offers dual standby functionality. In terms of connectivity options, apart from the hot knot, it has Bluetooth, WiFi, WiFi hotspot, 3G HSPA+, micro-USB, FOTA, and FM radio. It measures 134 x 68.2 x 9.9 mm.
