Intex has launched a new smartphone, dubbed as Aqua M5. The device goes on sell in India exclusively through eBay retailer with a price Rs. 5,299, however the device is not listed in the company website yet. First 100 customers will get an Intex Bluetooth headset free of worth Rs. 795.
The Intex Aqua M5 is running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS and features a 5-inch FWVGA IPS display with 480 x 854 pixels of resolution. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core (MT6582V/X chipset) processor and features hotknot connectivity. It is backed by a 2,000mAH Li-ion battery, that is rated for 5 hrs (3G) / 7 hrs (2G) of talk-time and 300 hrs of standby life.
The Aqua M5 houses an 8MP AF rear camera with flash and also packs a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter for selfies. It is equipped with 512Mb of RAM and the 4GB built-in storage is further expandable with up to 32GB of microSD card.
The dual-SIM (micro+mini / WCDMA+GSM) Intex Aqua M5 offers dual standby functionality. In terms of connectivity options, apart from hotknot, it has Bluetooth, WiFi, WiFi hotspot, 3G HSPA+, micro-USB, FOTA and FM radio. It measures 134 x 68.2 x 9.9 mm.
