Intex has launched a new low-budget 3G smartphone in India with a price of Rs. 2,999; dubbed as Aqua KAT.
The Intex Aqua KAT can be purchased in Black and Grey variant colors through eBay. It comes with 256 MB of RAM and 512 MB of internal storage that is further expandable with up to 32 GB of MicroSD cards. It is a dual-SIM (WCDMA+GSM) handset, comes powered by a 1GHz MT6572 Dual Core processor.
The Aqua KAT runs Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS out of the box and packs a 1300 MAh battery rated for 3-4 hrs of talk-time and 180 hrs of standby time. It houses a 2MP rear camera with Flash and also boasts a VGA front-facing camera for selfies. The smartphone features a 4-inch TFT WVGA touch display with 480×800 pixels of resolution.
The Intex Aqua KAT includes FM Radio, WiFi, Bluetooth, micro-USB, hotspot, Tethering, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, and 3G in terms of connectivity options. It measures 123.5×63.2×10.5 mm dimensions and weighs 105 gms with a battery. It has Ambient Light, Proximity, and Gravity sensors.
