A new smartphone, the Intex Aqua i5 Octa, has been launched in India with a price of Rs 7,499. The handset will be exclusively available via Amazon.
A 1.4GHz Octa-Core MediaTek processor powers the Intex Aqua i5 Octa with 1GB of RAM. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box and features a 5-inch qHD (540 x 960 pixels) IPS touchscreen display. It will be available in black, blue, and white color variants. It supports dual-SIM (WCDMA+GSM) with dual standby functionality.
The Aqua i5 Octa comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It houses a 13-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and a secondary 5-megapixel front-facing camera onboard for selfies and video chatting. The handset includes 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, Bluetooth, and a 2000mAh battery in terms of connectivity options.
It supports compass, proximity, and accelerometer sensors.
