Intex has launched a new smartphone, dubbed Aqua Amoled. It is exclusively available through the e-commerce online website shopping Indiatimes. Within a week, the company has already launched Intex Aqua Star II and Intex Aqua Y2 Remote, which goes on sale in the country for Rs 5,999 and Rs 4,390, respectively.
The Intex Aqua Amoled features a 5-inch touchscreen display with 360×640 pixels of resolution and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor. It houses a 5-megapixel rear shooter that features panorama shot, HDR, and continuous shot, while there is a VGA camera at the front for video calling.
The Aqua Amoled is equipped with 512MB of RAM and comes with 4GB of internal storage with an expansion slot (up to 32GB microSD cards). It runs Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS out of the box. The smartphone is backed by a 1400 mAh Li-ion battery rated for up to 5 hrs of talk-time and up to 200 hrs of standby life.
The Intex Aqua Amoled measures 124 x 60.6 x 9.4 mm, and its weight is 106.1 gm. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, FM radio, 3.5mm sound jack, FOTA, 3G, dual SIM (WCDMA+GSM) with dual standby, and micro-USB. It supports gravity and light sensors. The phone comes in black and white color options.
