InFocus has launched a new smartphone in Taiwan, dubbed M518. It goes on sale in its homeland with a price of NT $ 4,952 (about 161 US dollars / Rs. 10,300). Till now, the handset is not listed on the company website of India.
The InFocus M518 is running on Android KitKat 4.4 OS with InLife UI on top. It comes with a 2500 mAh battery and supports dual-micro-SIM with dual standby functionality. It measures 140.5mm(H) x 70.8mm(W) x 8.7mm(T) and weight is 136 gms.
The InFocus M518 boasts Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8926, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, and has 1GB of RAM. It features a 5-inch IPS HD (1280×720 pixels) on-cell touchscreen display, and the built-in 4GB storage is supported by up to 64 GB microSD.
In terms of connectivity options, the M518 include 4G : FDD-LTE 2100(B1)/ 1800(B3)/ 700(B28)MHz, 3G HSPA, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, GPS, A-GPS + GLONASS, USB OTG and dual noise-canceling microphone.
The InFocus M518 houses an 8 megapixel Sony Exmor R autofocus camera that supports LED flash, F2.2 aperture, 28mm wide-angle, and 0.3 seconds fast focusing. It also has 2-megapixel Sony Exmor R front camera.
