After extending the range of smartphone in India, Idea has launched ID 4000 with a tag price Rs 4,999, bundled with data pack.
Idea – the third largest operator of India, says that he has already sold over 7 lakh devices from its earlier range of 3G smartphones.
According to the news, the Idea ID 4000, which will be available in 11 circles, comes with a special offer for existing 3G users, offers 1.6 GB of 3G data and Idea TV access free for three months, with a data-pack priced at Rs. 259. However, for new users, data-pack is offered in Rs. 261.
“Our strategy of proliferating data services through the sale of affordable 3G smartphones has worked well for us, and hence we will continue to build on our devices portfolio,” Idea Cellular Chief Marketing Officer Sashi Shankar said.
The ID 4000 sports 4-inch Capacitive touch-screen display with 320×480 pixels of resolution. The phone boasts a dual-core processor, clocked at 1GHz of speed, alongside 512 MB RAM combination.
The Idea ID 4000 powered with a 1500mAH removable battery, with rating of talk-time and standby-time. The device has 512 MB inbuilt storage, ROM can be upgraded up to 32 GB via an external microSD card.
The ID 4000 houses a 3.2-megapixel rear camera without flash, also there is front camera is available. The handset runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Beans out-of-the-box.
WiFi 802.11 b/ g/ n, Bluetooth 4.00, Headphone jack 3.5mm, FM radio and Micro-USB are main connectivity options are available in Idea ID 4000 cellphone.
The ID 4000 is 3G smartphone, features regular GSM SIM.
