iBall has launched a new tablet for selfie addicted, dubbed as Slide Stellar A2. The new voice-calling slate is priced at Rs. 11,999 in India, which will be available to buy via online and offline stores across the country.

The main highlight of the iBall Slide Stellar A2 is it features an 8-megapixel front-facing camera which is according to the company, the tablet is first in India with the said feature. Notably, the slate is also offering 8-megapixel autofocus camera with dual-LED flash at the rear.

The iBall Slide Stellar A2 runs Android 4.4 KitKat OS and sports a 7-inch touchscreen display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and offers 215ppi pixel of density. It is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM.

The Slide Stellar A2 comes with 8GB of built-in storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It has HotKnot file transfer technology, which is similar to near field communications (NFC) in terms of application. It is also backed by a 3000mAh battery, but no word of talk time and standby time.

In terms of connectivity specs, the Slide Stellar A2 include 3G, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, USB-OTG and Mini HDMI port. The dual-SIM iBall Slide Stellar A2 tablet also supports voice calling with earphones.
