iBall has launched its cheapest tablet in India for just Rs. 4999, dubbed as iBall Slide i701.
The iBall Slide i701 features a 7-inch HD IPS touchscreen and is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom processor. It houses a 2-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera for video calling. Since it runs Windows 8.1 OS, it has a free Microsoft Office license for one year and 1TB OneDrive cloud storage.
The Slide i701 slate comes with 1GB of RAM and is equipped with 16GB of internal storage, further expandable with up to 32GB with micro-SD. Connectivity options include 3G (via dongle), WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, micro HDMI, and MicroUSB. It also packs a 3200mAh battery.
The iBall Slide i701 is priced at just Rs. 4,999, which means it is the cheapest Windows 8.1 tablet in the world currently. It also comes with a free back cover autographed by iBall’s ambassador Kareena Kapoor, Free HDMI Cable worth Rs. 699 and three interchangeable protective covers worth Rs. 599. It will be available through retail stores and e-commerce portals from 21st May.
