iBall has prepared a new smartphone, called Cobalt Oomph. Notably, the company has not been listed on the company website yet. Still, Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom reports via Twitter that iBall Cobalt Oomph is priced at Rs 7,999 and is available in the store.
The iBall Cobalt Oomph features a 4.7-inch HD (1280 x 720p) IPS display with 312ppi pixels of density. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and coupled with 1GB of RAM. The 8GB internal storage is further expandable with up to 32Gb of microSD card.
Cobalt Oomph is currently running on Android 4.4 KitKat OS and will update Android 5.0 Lollipop shortly. The smartphone houses an 8MP auto-focus primary snapper at the rear with LED flash and also boasts a 5MP front camera for selfie and video calling at the front.
In terms of connectivity, Cobalt Oomph offers dual-SIM (WCDMA+GSM) with dual standby, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, FM Radio, GPS, AGPS, WiFi hotspot, Wi-Fi direct, and micro-USB. A 1,850mAh battery backs the handset.
