iBall has prepared a new smartphone, called it Cobalt Oomph. Notably, the company has not listed in the company website yet, but Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom reports via Twitter that iBall Cobalt Oomph is priced at Rs 7,999 and is available in the store.

The iBall Cobalt Oomph features a 4.7-inch HD (1280 x 720p) IPS display with 312ppi pixels of density. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and coupled with 1GB of RAM. The 8GB internal storage is further expandable with up to 32Gb of microSD card.

Cobalt Oomph currently running on Android 4.4 KitKat OS and will get an update to Android 5.0 Lollipop in the near future. The smartphone houses an 8MP auto-focus primary snapper at rear with LED flash and also boasts a 5MP front camera for selfie and video calling at the front.

In terms of connectivity, Cobalt Oomph offers dual-SIM (WCDMA+GSM) with dual standby, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, FM Radio, GPS, AGPS, WiFi hotspot, Wi-Fi direct and micro-USB. The handset is backed by a 1,850mAh battery.
