iBall has launched Andi Uddaan Mini in India via an eCommerce online website with a price of Rs 5,699.
The iBall Andi Uddaan Mini is listed on eBay without display details. It is specifically made for women with a built-in SOS button at the back panel below the primary camera.
On pressing the SOS button on the iBall Andi Uddaan Mini, a siren will ring alerting people around, apart from sending a pre-defined message to five emergency contacts. Another facility of this feature is that it will start calling the five numbers and updates the user’s location on Facebook with geo-codes if connected to the Internet. The phone also houses Swarovski Zirconia Crystal on the physical home button.
The iBall Andi Uddaan Mini runs on the latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS with a quad-core processor (unspecified chipset and clock speed) and 1GB of RAM.
The smartphone supports dual-SIM (WCDMA+GSM) support with Dual Standby functionality. It is equipped with 4GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable (with up to 32 GB of MicroSD cards). It houses an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and also a VGA front-facing camera for video calling. It sports an IPS display (screen size not mentioned).
In terms of connectivity options, the iBall Andi Uddaan Mini includes; Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G, 3.5 mm ear-jack, and Micro-USB. According to the listing, the smartphone will support over-the-air (OTA) updates. But, there is no word of battery capacity.
