The Mate S smartphone can be purchased in Malaysia from 22 October 2015 for $650, which was announced at this year’s IFA last month and was for sale in Europe a few weeks later.

The MATE S is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 935 chipset with an octa-core CPU of 2.2 GHz processor and coupled with 3 GB of RAM. It features a 5.5-inch FULL HD IPS touchscreen display. The built-in 32/64/128 GB storage is further expandable via an external MicroSD card.
The MATE S smartphone houses a 13-megapixel rear camera and boasts an 8 Mega Pixel with an LED Flash front-facing snapper for selfies/video calling. The phone includes FM Radio, WiFi, Bluetooth, micro-USB, Mobile hotspot, GPS/AGPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack in terms of connectivity options. It also has Dual SIM functionality.
Mate S comes with Force Touch and Finger Print Sensor.
