This is only logical, seeing how the Honor 6 is roughly the same age as the Ascend P7 and even has slightly better hardware. The beta in question is also based on Android 5.1 Lollipop and has EMUI 3.1 to go along with it.

To participate in the said beta read it carefully:

One hundred registered customers in the Honor Club will be eligible to participate, with Huawei asking interested users to answer why they would like to be in the beta test. Those that get in to the soak test will be able to test-drive Android 5.1 atop Huawei’s EMUI 3.1 on their Honor 6, and share feedback with the manufacturer.

Make sure to send us an email with the subject ”Beta Test Honor 6″, your IMEI number and a short statement why you are the appropriate person for the test to myhonor@hihonor.com. The first 100 applications that convinced us most will be notified by us next week. The application phase will be closed on 30.06 – so hurry up and sign in today!

The update will be rolling out to all Honor 6 customers in Europe sometime over the summer.
