Huawei MediaPad M2 with 8-inch Display and Android 5.0 Lollipop at €349

Huawei has unveiled the MediaPad M2, the successor of MediaPad M1. The tablet will first debut in France this month with a price of €349 (about $3,91), and the rest of the countries will get it in early June.

The Huawei MediaPad M2 tablet features an 8-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 930 chipset with 64-bit octa-core 2.0GHz Cortex-A53 processor. It is equipped with 2GB of RAM, and a MicroSD card supports the 16 GB / 32 GB internal storage.

The MediaPad M2 houses an 8-megapixel rear snapper with an LED flash and a 2-megapixel front shooter for selfies. It is backed by a powerful 4,800 mAh battery and runs the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with Huawei’s EMUI 3.0 on top.

In terms of connectivity options, the Huawei MediaPad M2 includes 4G LTE Cat.4 (optional), Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac dual-band, NFC, GPS, and Bluetooth 4.0. The slate measures 7.8mm thin and weighs 310g.
