Huawei Honor 6 Extreme Edition with Kirin 928 Octa-Core Processor

An upgraded model of Huawei Honor 6, the Honor 6 Extreme Edition, has been launched at an event in Beijing (China).

The Honor 6 Extreme Edition sports a Kirin 928 Octa-core processor, which is clocked at 2.0 GHz speed. It comes with LTE-A Cat.6 supports, which delivers download speeds up to 300 Mbps. It is further coupled with a Mali T628MP4 graphics card and combined with 3GB of RAM.

The Extreme Edition of Huawei Honor 6 has 32 GB of internal storage and comes with a MicroSD slot that can be upgraded up to 128 GB. The smartphone sports a 5-inch 1080p touchscreen display houses a 13-megapixel primary shooter complemented by a 5 MP front-facing sensor.

The Huawei Honor 6 Extreme Edition is backed by a 3,100 mAh battery and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS out of the box.

The Huawei Honor 6 Extreme Edition will offer a wide range of accessories, including headphones, a 0.2 mm tempered glass screen protector, 2 NFC tags, a limited edition “Road and force” protective shell as well as a protective sleeve.

Huawei has also confirmed that it will only make 9,999 units of the Honor 6 Extreme Edition and retail for $489 (RYB 2,999) and available for pre-order starting October 21, 2014.
