Huawei has announced a new smartphone, the Ascend G7, at IFA 2014. It will be available in silver, grey, and golden color options for 250 Euros (Roughly Rs 19,600). From Sep 14, it will be sold in Germany, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Hungary, the Netherlands, Turkey, Poland, Norway, South Africa, and Mexico.
The Huawei Ascend G7 boasts a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) capacitive in-cell touchscreen display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor with Andreno 306 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The smartphone is running on Android 4.4 KitKat OS with Huawei Emotion UI 3.0 on the top.
Ascend G7 houses a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.4 aperture, and a Sony sensor. Simultaneously, there is also a 5-megapixel front-facing camera fixed on the top with an 88-degree wide-angle lens, 5P lens, and Blue-glass filter for selfie and video chatting. It features 4G LTE connectivity and a dual – antenna with smart switching for better connectivity.
Huawei Ascend G7 comes with 16 GB of internal storage, but no word of expandable. At 7.6mm thick, the phablet weighs 165 grams. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery and having connectivity options like 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, and GPS, along with Cat.4 LTE.
