Huawei has announced a new smartphone, the Ascend G7, at IFA 2014. It will be available in silver, grey and golden colour options with a price 250 Euros (Roughly Rs 19,600). From Sep 14, it will be sold in Germany, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Hungary, the Netherlands Turkey, Poland, Norway, South Africa and Mexico.
The Huawei Ascend G7 boasts a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) capacitive in-cell touchscreen display. It is powered by an 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor with Andreno 306 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The smartphone is running on Android 4.4 KitKat OS with Huawei Emotion UI 3.0 on the top.
Ascend G7 houses a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.4 aperture and Sony sensor. While there is also a 5-megapixel front-facing camera fixed on the top with 88-degree wide angle lens, 5P lens and Blue-glass filter for selfie and video chatting. It features 4G LTE connectivity and dual-antenna with smart switching for better connectivity.
Huawei Ascend G7 comes with 16GB of internal storage, but no word of expandable. At 7.6mm thick, the phablet weighs 165 grams. It is backed by 3000mAH battery and having connectivity options like : 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and GPS, along with Cat.4 LTE.
