HTC latest flagship android smartphone One E8 aka Vogue Edition, has received an impressive response in China, and according to Taiwanese giant’s Weibo account (China version of Twitter), the company sold 50,000 units of the HTC One (E8) in just 15 minutes.
Launched earlier, the One (E8) is available in China for CNY 2,999, with no word about availability in India, features curvier, plastic body (polycarbonate) instead of a metal casing. According to the OEM company, the device will be available in a dual-SIM (Nano-SIM) variant in some regions.
The One (E8) sports a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen, with 1080×1920 pixels resolution, 16 M colour and 441 PPI.
The HTC One (E8) boasts Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AB quad-core processor, clocked at 2.5GHz of speed, coupled with 2GB of RAM.
The One E8 has built-with 16GB ROM, the internal storage can be upgraded upto 128GB via an external microSD card.
Measuring the One E8, dimension is 146.40 x 70.70 x 9.90 mm, weighs 145 gm, backed by a 2600 mAH battery, available in Polar White, Electric Crimson, Maldives Blue and Misty Gray variants of colours.
The One (E8) houses a 13-megapixel rear camera with flash, and 5MP frontal camera onboard for video-calling and selfies.
The phone runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS out-of-the-box, supports Java, and browser features flash.
WiFi 802.11 a/ b/ g/ n, GPS, Bluetooth 4, 3.5mm ear-jack, Micro-USB and single Nano-SIM (3G+GSM) are main connectivity options of this HTC One (E8) smartphone.
The cellphone also sports Proximity, Accelerometer and Ambient light sensors.
