Google’s Nexus 9 tablet and Nexus 6 have just been released with a starting price of US $399 and US $649, respectively. Now, HTC Google Nexus 9 is up for pre-order from Amazon in the UK.
The 16 GB storage variant model of HTC Nexus 9 is available at £319, while the 32 GB model has been priced at £399. It is available in both black and white variant colors, but no word about sand color.
The Nexus 9 is running on Google’s latest Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. It is equipped with an 8.9-inch LCD and 1536×2048 pixels resolution. The device is powered by a 2.3GHz dual-core 64-bit NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor with 2GB of RAM. The handset features a Double-tap to wake gesture.
The HTC Nexus 9 has an 8-megapixel autofocus rear-facing camera with LED flash, while there is a 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.4 aperture for selfies. The slate is 7.95 mm thick and weighs 425 grams for Wi-Fi and 436 grams for the 4G LTE model.
In terms of connectivity options, the HTC Google Nexus 9 include; WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac 2×2 (MIMO), Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, 4G LTE and 3G/HSPA+. It is backed by a powerful 6,700 mAh battery rated for 9.5 hours duration while using the internet on WiFi and 8.5 hours browsing on 4G LTE.
The HTC Nexus 9 comes with dual front-facing speakers with HTC BoomSound. It has a set of sensors like GPS, accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, and ambient light. It also has dual microphones and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
