Today, HTC has announced Desire 820 in India. The company says it will be available in November, and the price will be revealed in the launch event only.
The new smartphone, HTC Desire 820, supports dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) and features a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 720 X 1280p. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor (4×2.5GHz + 4×1.5GHz) with 2GB of RAM. The phone comes with 16 GB of internal storage, which is expandable through a MicroSD card (up to 128 GB). It sports Boom Sound front stereo speakers also.
The Desire 820 houses a 13-megapixel rear primary camera with f/2.2 and 1080p video supports. It also boasts an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. In terms of connectivity options, the phone comes with Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, LTE, and GPS. It is backed by a 2,600mAh battery and comes with nano-Sim slots.
It runs on the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS with HTC’s Sense 6 UI running on top.
