Last year, HTC Desire 816G was launched with quad-core processor and gone for sell with a price Rs. 18,990 in India. Now, the company has upgraded the hardware with octa-core SoC and launched with a price Rs. 19,990.

HTC Desire 816G Dual SIM (2015) comes in black and white variant colours, featuring 3G HSPA connectivity. It sports a 5.5-inch touch screen with 720×1280 pixels of resolution. It is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core processor, that runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS with HTC Sense 6.0 UI on the top.

The Desire 816G Dual SIM supports dual SIM (WCDMA+GSM) with dual standby, and both SIM slots are nano in size. It is equipped with 1GB of RAM and also comes 16GB of internal storage, and has an expansion slot, that can be upgraded with up to 32GB microSD card.

The Desire 816G Dual SIM smartphone houses a 13-megapixel BSI sensor at the rear with flash and also boasts a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter for selfie. It is backed by a 2600mAH Li-pol battery, that is rated for up to 10 hours (3G) of talk-time and up to 460 hrs of standby.

In terms of connectivity options, the HTC Desire 816G Dual SIM (2015) include FM Radio, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX, micro-USB v2.0, mobile hotspot, GPS and A-GPS. It measures 156.6 x 78.7 x 7.9 mm with 158 gms of weight.
