The Taiwanese HTC Desire 816 phablet is now available via an e-commerce website in India at Rs. 24,450. HTC’s latest mid-range flagship phone, the Desire 816, was launched on April 14, alongside budget smartphone HTC Desire 210 Dual SIM.
Now, the smartphone is available at various e-commerce sites, such as Infibeam (Rs. 24,450) and Flipkart (Rs. 24,490), and notably, the price is higher than the official Rs. 23,990 launch price tag.
Features and Specifications of HTC Desire 816 Phablet
The Desire 816 sports a 5.5 inch HD display, along with 720×1080 pixel resolution. Measuring 156.6 x78.7 x 7.9 mm dimensions, the smartphone weighs 165 gm. The phone sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core CPUs, clocked at 1.6 GHz speed, alongside 1.5 GB RAM.
The HTC Desire 826 phablet runs on Android OS; however, there is no word about the android version, though HTC confirms the presence of HTC Sense 5.5 UI (HTC BlinkFeed) on top.
The Desire houses a 13 MP rear camera with BSI sensor, f/2.2, 28mm lens, 1080p video recording features, alongside 5 Mega-Pixel frontal camera with BSI sensor and 1080p video recording.
This HTC’ phone is 4G LTE supported, comes with 8GB ROM, the internal storage memory can be extended up to 128 GB via an external microSD card.
The Desire 826 is backed by a 2600 mAh Li-polymer battery, able to deliver up to 21 hours of talk-time on the 3G network or 737 hours of standby.
Internal GPS antenna + GLONASS & Digital Compass featured this phone, sports Accelerometer, Proximity, and Ambient light sensors.
Connectivity options on the handset included are Bluetooth 4.0, DLNA, Micro-USB, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi, and HTC Connect.
The Desire 816 is backed by a 2600mAh battery, rated to deliver up to 21 hours of talk time and up to 614 hours standby time on a 3G network. Interestingly, the handset is the first HTC device to incorporate a Nano-SIM instead of a Micro-SIM card. The device supports nano-SIM instead of micro-SIM.
