HTC has launched the Desire 510 smartphone with 4G LTE connectivity. It comes in Terra White and Meridian Grey colors. The handset will be available in Europe and Asia as well as through selected carriers in the US. However, the company has not announced the price yet.
HTC Desire 510 is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor based on 64-bit ARM Cortex-A53 and has an Adreno 306 GPU. It features a 4.7-inch FWVGA touch screen display (854 x 480 pixels) and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS with HTC Sense UI on top.
The Desire 510 houses a 5-megapixel rear camera without flash and also a VGA (0.3MP) front-facing camera for video chats. It features HTC BlinkFeed and even has an HTC Dot View case. However, there is no word about it that it is a single SIM or Dual SIM variant.
The HTC Desire 510 comes with 8GB internal storage, further expandable up to 32 GB (expected). At 9.99mm thick, the phone weighs 158 grams and packed a battery of 2100 mAh under the hood.
4G LTE, 3.5 mm headset jack, 3G, 4G, WiFi b/g/n, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS with GLONASS are the main connectivity options included in the smartphone.
