HP may release a new tablet, the Pro Tablet 408 G1. There is no official announcement till now.

Developed for businessmen, the HP Pro Tablet 408 G1 sports 8-inch HD MIPI IPS (1280 x 800 pixels) display that supports 10-point touch panel. It is powered by an Intel Atom Z3736F (1.33 GHz, up to 2.16 GHz using Intel Burst Technology, 2 MB cache, 4 cores) processor and coupled with Intel HD GPU, alongside 2 GB DDR3L SDRAM.

The Pro Tablet 408 G1 runs Windows 8.1 Pro with Bing and will be available in market in two storage variant model : 32 GB and 64 GB. The internal storage is further expandable with up to 128GB of memory card. The slate houses an 8MP HD rear camera and also boasts a 2-megapixel HD front camera with LED indicator.

The HP Pro Tablet 408 G1 is backed by a 4800 mAh Li-ion polymer battery. In terms of connectivity option, it include FM Radio, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n (2×2), Bluetooth V4.0 LE, micro-USB, GPS, AGPS, GLONASS, Dual stereo speakers, microphone, micro HDMI and 3G. It also comes with MS Office 365 personal edition. The device measures 140 x 215 x 9 mm and weight is 375 gms. It has a set of sensors : accelerometer, proximity, ambient light, G-sensor, eCompass and hall effect.
