HP has released a new tablet in the USA, dubbed as 7 Plus G2 (1331). It can be purchased officially through the company store for $179.99.
The HP 7 Plus G2-1331 comes in silver color and features 4G LTE with a T-mobile carrier. It sports a 7-inch IPS (1024 x 600 pixels) touchscreen display and is powered by an Intel Atom Z2520 Dual Core 1.2GHz (2 MB L2 cache) processor, alongside 1GB of RAM.
The latest slate HP 7 Plus G2-1331 runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS and has 8GB internal storage that is further expandable with up to 64 GB of MicroSD cards. It houses a 2-megapixel rear camera and also boasts a VGA front-facing camera for video calling.
HP 7 Plus G2 is backed by a 3100 mAh Li-ion polymer rated for 6 hrs of average life. The connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.0, micro-USB v2.0, microphone, mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, and 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 7.59 x 4.6 x 0.35 in and weight is 0.63 lb. It supports accelerometer, proximity, and light sensors.
