HCL has reduced the price of ME Tablet Connect 2G (V1) from Rs 6,499, and now it is available online in India with a price of Rs Rs 6000 only.
According to the HCL store listing, ME Tablet Connect 2G (V1) sports a 7-Inches (17.78 Cms) WVGA Multi-touch Capacitive screen with 800 * 480 pixels of resolution. It has a built-in proximity sensor.
It is powered by a 1 GHz Cortex A8 CPU Next-Generation Processor and coupled with GC430 3D GPU Graphics, alongside 1 GB DDR3 RAM. The tablet features Full HD 1080p video; SIM-based built-in Voice calling & SMS.
This HCL Me Connect tablet has a 0.3 Megapixel front camera, and the opposite side also a 2.0M Pixel camera with LED Flash. It boasts 4 GB inbuilt storage and further upgradeable up to 32 GB via an external MicroSD card.
The HCL Me Tablet Connect 2G (V1) is backed by a 3200mAh Li-Polymer battery, rated to deliver 1 days standby and 3-4 hours playtime.
WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, WIFI HotSpot, Micro USB, Bluetooth 3, 3G {3G Data-Enabled through USB Data Card (WCDMA/EVDO)} and ME App Store are main connectivity options. It runs on an out-dated Android OS 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system out-of-the-box.
