Gionee has already announced two 3G smartphones, the Pioneer P4S and the P6, and two 4G LTE devices, the CTRL V6L and the Pioneer P5L. The company has confirmed that V6L will be available in the Indian market with a price of Rs 15000 and P5L will be for Rs 10000, while there is no word about the pricing of P4S and P6.
The Gionee Pioneer P4S comes with a dual SIM slot (WCMDA+GSM) with dual standby and features a 4.5-inch IPS TFT (480 x 854 pixels) display. It is powered by a MediaTek MT6582 1.3GHz quad-core processor and Mali 400 GPU, alongside 1GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB of internal storage, further expandable with up to 32 GB of MicroSD cards.
The Pioneer P4S houses a 5-megapixel rear camera and also boasts a 2-megapixel front camera. The P4S includes 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, WiFi Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, MicroUSB 2.0, and 3.5 mm in terms of connectivity options ear-jack. A Li-Po 1800 mAh battery backs it.
