Gionee – the Chinese smartphone company has released an Android 4.4 KitKat update in India for its Pioneer P4.
The company has already rolled out Android 4.4 KitKat updates for Elife S5.5, CTRL V5, and Elife E7 Mini has now announced the KitKat update for its budget Pioneer P4 smartphone in India. The Android 4.4 KitKat update for the Gionee Pioneer P4 is now available over-the-air (OTA) and is about 808 MB in size. However, Gionee Elife E7 is still running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS.

- Updated Map with only one entrance into the main menu
- Theme and wallpaper will be reset to default after a system update, but data will not be lost. Simply re-apply the chosen theme and wallpaper.
