Gionee will soon release a flagship smartphone, dubbed as F301. It will be available for under 1000 Yuan in China and will also go for sale in India and other selected countries.
The Gionee F301 is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6732 chipset with a 1.5GHz quad-core processor. It is further coupled with a Mali-T760 graphics card and multi-mode LTE modem, supporting mobile 4G, 3G, and GSM networks (TD-LTE, TD -SCDMA, GSM). It also supports dual-SIM with dual standby functionality.
The F301 features a 4.7 inches HD (1280 * 720 pixels) IPS touchscreen display. It comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage that is further expandable with at-least 32 GB of MicroSD card. It runs Amigo 2.5 ROM that is based on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The smartphone houses an 8-megapixels rear-facing camera and also packs a 5-megapixels front-facing camera for selfies.
A 2000 mAh battery backs it. It supports double-click on / off-screen, electronic compass, and remote control functions. It measures 134.4 x 66.9 x 7.8 mm. It is expected to be launched in the market this year.
