Gionee has unveiled a new smartphone, dubbed as Gionee Elife E8. It is priced at 3999 Chinese Yuan ( about US $644 / Rs. 41,118) and will go on sale in China starting from July 15th.
The Gionee Elife E8 is powered by an Octa-core 2 GHz (Helio X 10 Mediatek MT6795) processor and coupled with 3GB of RAM. It features a 6-inch Quad HD AMOLED touchscreen display with 1440 x 2560 pixels of resolution. The built-in 64 GB storage is further expandable via up to 128 GB of MicroSD cards.
The Elife E8 smartphone houses a 24-megapixel autofocus rear camera and boasts an 8 MegaPixel front-facing snapper for selfies/video calling. The phone includes 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, micro-USB, USB OTG, NFC Mobile hotspot, GPS/AGPS, and 3.5mm audio jack in terms of connectivity options. It also has Dual SIM (4G LTE+GSM / micro-SIMs) with dual standby functionality.
