Elephone has unveiled a new smartphone dubbed Vowney. It will be officially released on 20 Jun 15; however, there is no official pricing available.
The new flagship Elephone Vowney features Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and boasts an MT6795 Octa Core 2.2GHz processor with a huge 4GB of RAM. It has an IMG G6200 GPU and comes with 32 GB of internal storage that is further expandable up to 64 GB of MicroSD cards.
The Vowney sports a 5.5-inch IPS-LCD OGS touchscreen display with 2560 x 1440 pixels of resolution. It comes in black, golden, and white variant colors. The handset measures 155mm*76mm*8.9mm and weighs 0.65 KG. The phone houses a 20.7-megapixel rear shooter with Auto Focus and Flash Light. There is also an 8.0-megapixel front-facing camera.
The Elephone Vowney supports 4G FDD-LTE: Band 1/3/7/20 (800/1800/2100/2600MHz), supports dual-SIM with dual-standby functionality. In terms of connectivity options, it includes Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, 2.4G/5G dual-band WiFi, A-GPS, FM radio, NFC, and GPS.
The Elephone Vowney has GPL sensors backed by a Li-ion battery of 3800mAh (removable battery) capacity.
