Elephone has finally launched its flagship smartphone, P8000, with a tag price of 209.99 USD (about Rs. 13,360). It will also arrive in India soon through Flipkart under Rs 13000.
The Elephone P8000 boasts an MTK6753 1.3GHz A53 64-bit Octa-core processor and is equipped with 3GB of RAM. It sports a 5.5-inch FHD display with 1920*1080 pixels of resolution. The 16 GB internal storage can be expanded with up to 128 GB of memory cards.
The P8000 smartphone houses a 13-megapixel Samsung rear camera with auto-focus and LED flash. There is also a 5 MegaPixel front-facing snapper for selfies/video calling. The connectivity options include the phone 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, FM Radio, WiFi, Bluetooth, Mobile hotspot, GPS/AGPS, micro-USB, and 3.5mm audio jack. It also has dual-SIM (WCDMA+GSM / both micro) with dual standby functionality.
The P8000 is backed by a 4165 mAh Polymer (non-removable) battery rated for up to 21 hours of talk-time and up to 268 hours of standby life. It also features Touch ID, FOTA, and Breathing pulsing LED light. The phone is equipped with Gravity, Proximity, Light, Holster hall, and Fingerprint identification sensors.
